Roch is not without financial problems though. In 1996 Roch was arrested for tax evasion in Canada. The charges against Roch were based on Canadian law which imposes a fine of over one thousand dollars for each day that Roch did not pay taxes that he owed. Roch paid the tax however and avoided jail time however the sentence caused Roch a financial loss which he had to pay back to the Canadian government. Roch is appealing the court’s ruling and has asked that court not release him from house arrest.
